The Danfoss Nessie high-pressure water pumps PAH are especially designed for operation on technical water, such as reverse osmosis-, demineralisedand de-ionised water. Twelve pump sizes with displacements from 2 to 80 ccm/rev in 4 different frame sizes are available providing flow in the range from 50-8000 l/h or 0.25-35 gpm. The axial piston principle provides very high efficiency, small and compact design and long service life. The Danfoss Nessie pumps are water lubricated and do not involve any other lubricant, making this unique pump maintenance free over its entire service life.
Danfoss Nessie APP pumps are designed to supply low viscosity and corrosive fluids under high pressure, eg. in seawater reverse osmosis filtration applications and for high pressure salt water pumping. The pumps are based on the axial piston principle enabling a very light and compact design, and they are designed so that lubrication of the moving parts in the pumps is provided by the fluid itself. No oil lubrication is thus required. All parts included in the pumps are designed to provide long service life, i.e. long service life with a constantly high efficiency and minimum of service required. The pumps are fixed displacement pumps in which the flow is proportional to the number of revolutions of the input shaft and the pump displacement, regardless of any counter-pressure.
