Danfoss KP Pressure Switch
The Danfoss KP range of pressure switches has long been a standout offering in the comprehensive Danfoss switch portfolio. And with recent approval by UL, CSA, and FM, KP pressure switches will soar in popularity with customers who seek reliable performance at lower prices, reduced insurance premiums, and improved customer service.
KP pressure switches control, regulate and monitor pressure in air, marine, water and heating applications. Because they play an important safety role in these applications, it’s crucial that the automatic or manual reset functions operate perfectly – so reliability and quality are paramount Within each KP pressure switch, you’ll find a perfect interaction between the bellow, the snap mechanism and the contact system. The quick snap mechanism ensures a Class A contact function, which complies with EMC standards. A negligible bouncing time (10-15 µs) extends the life of the switch so it can withstand more than 100,000 operations, keeping your equipment working longer. And the KP can cope with vibrations ranging from 20-1000Hz at 4g, making it ideal for heavy duty applications.
Danfoss KP pressure switches are used for regulating, monitoring and alarm systems in industrial applications.
The KP series are suitable for gaseous media and air. They are fitted with a single-pole switch changeover (SPDT), and can control single-phase ac motors of up to 2 kW directly.

Danfoss KP pressure controls are for use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems to give protection against excessively low suction pressure or excessively high discharge pressure.
Danfoss KP pressure controls are also used for starting and stopping refrigeration compressors and fans on air-cooled condensers. Ambient temperature: ;–40 - +65°C (+80°C for max. 2 hours).
